I only have have two kitty beds and I have five cats, so you can just imagine the fights that go on in my house… especially with this freezing cold snap we are experiencing in Joburg. How to get your kitty to sleep in her new bed?

So now you have these awesome new bed, how do you get your cat to sleep in it? Below are some great tips from Marycke Ackhurst from Hill’s :

Place the bed wherever the cat usually likes to sleep (which may even be on top of your bed)
Elevate the bed in a raised spot – cats like to look down on the world
Placing favourite toys in the bed
A sprinkling of catnip or valerian may make the bed more appealing
