I’m sure we all remember the decadent and delicious Magnum Pleasure Store that was in Rosebank…if you love your chocolate covered ice cream as much as I do. Then you will be excited to know that the ‘Make my Magnum’ experience is back in South Africa with a brand new Pleasure Store! MAGNUM NELSON MANDELA SQUARE opened on Saturday, 12 March, and is only open for a period of 8 weeks only. So best get there asap, because if Rosebank is anything to go by, the queue will be out the door but the magnum worth the wait!
A personalised Magnum experience
Not sure what to expect…pure luxury & pleasure, of course! Get down to the new Pleasure Store to design your own custom Magnum with luxury ice cream, pure Magnum chocolate dip, and a range of delectable and decadent toppings. There are so many delicious toppings, it is hard to decide what to have!
What’s changed this year?
Well, to spice things up, Magnum is encouraging you to create a personalized version of your favourite Magnum flavour – Classic, Mint, Death By Chocolate, Almond, or White Almond – with a new limited-edition range of toppings. They have been made 7 designed by well-known pastry chef Danielle Postma of Moemas Patisserie, and include toppings such as crumbed chocolate cupcake, mint shortcake, chocolate brownie and frosted rose petals, crushed almond praline and ginger biscotti…just too divine!
Bring your personal ice cream fantasy to life in the glamorous and stylish environment of Magnum Nelson Mandela Square, then share your creation with your friends and family by taking a selfie at the Magnum Portrait Wall.
Collaboration between fashion & ice cream
Magnum have partnered with the talented & famous South African designer, Gert-Johan Coetzee to create the M Collection. Which is a range of designer gowns and luxury fashion accessories, including handbags, sarongs, scarves, iPad covers, t-shirts, dress shirts, socks and wallets, each inspired by one of five Magnum ice cream flavours – Classic, Mint, Death By Chocolate, Almond, or White Almond. And let me tell you, the dresses are gorgeous & glamorous! And I would love to get my hand on one of the M Collection handbags as they are to die for!
How to get the M Collection
As will all things this stunning, you need to win of course! So you need to find a specially marked 7-digit code on selected Magnum sticks and stand a chance to win M Collection accessories designed by Gert-Johan Coetzee and a shopping spree worth R100,000 in Sandton City and Nelson Mandela Square when you buy your Magnum.
