It’s no secret that my bestie, Candice (whose baby shower I planned a few weeks ago) is pregnant. Since she announced her pregnancy, I find myself spending hours and hours and hours, browsing online, looking at cute baby things. Like clothes, mini socks & shoes, toys, books, cribs and now my latest discovery Lidchi Kids Rugs.

The addition of a perfectly themed rug into a nursery or child’s room, had never crossed my mind (clearly you can tell I am not a parent or expectant parent)…well now the thought has crossed my mind and after seeing these rugs…I could become addicted, as they are so gorgeous!

I wish I was a little child again and had one of these to make my room pretty. They look really beautiful and would add colour and a little extra style to any child’s or baby’s room. I also love the fact that they can be customised to fit in with the décor, colour scheme, etc of your child’s or baby’s room…making it the perfect centre-piece of the room 🙂

They are exclusive to the Victor Lidchi range of “designer rugs”, which can be found in the Dunkeld West Centre and Honeydew Village.

These kids rugs are specially made by hand in India from pure wool and have a plush pile, making them wonderfully soft and fun to play on. The designs are embossed and manufactured specifically for kids up to about 12 years old.

The rugs are available in 1.8 x 1.2m, however, patterns and sizes can be tailor-made by order; with the prices ranging between R2 500 to R4 500.
